-        PC-Paris Convention

-         PCT- Patent Co-operation Treaty

There is no suchinstrument called international patent. One may apply to his desired countrieswithin specific time.

-        UnderPC one has to file application within 1 year of filing the National PatentApplication. For every desired country one application shall be required.

-        OnePCT application covers 148 member states and provides 30 months to fileInternational Application from the date of national application.

*** Unfortunately,Bangladesh is not a member state of PCT yet. Thus, we will not get the PCTfacilities. Hopefully, Bangladesh is going to sign PCT.

Classificationof Marks: Follows Nice Classification

Registration ofMarks; it will cover up to 92 contracting countries and provide protection for10 years.

Features:

-        AutomaticProtection; as soon as u get national copyright registration u willautomatically enjoy protection over the member states of Berne Convention.

-        Providesprotection up to 160 member states
